Location photography is a large part “make the best of it”. I shot a ton of quickshoots for real estate agencies and learned that in a hustle-bustle real estate obstacles are everywhere. Weather and wind are obvious to mess up a scheduled outdoor shoot, but also things like; the public in the background, weird availability times (5am pool photo session at a resort?), etc.
One doesn’t get a chance to go back to re-shoot if the results are less than perfect. This where post-production skills with photoshop come in handy. Remove the leaves from the pool, or hide the construciton pile next to the recently finished development, you say? No prob.
